2022 Xmas Dinner at the Oakwood Hotel

 We had a great time on Saturday night at the Oakwood Hotel for our Xmas dinner.







There was a great crowd there with many other groups/companies attending that night.

(Weds 29th July 2026) Day trip to King John's Castle and Ardnacrusha Power Station

We gathered by our coach at 9:30 am near Lidl in Shannon Town. John from https://www.ShannonTours.com was a very patient driver :) In total 11 members attended and  a full day was ahead of us! Our first stop was at King John's Castle, which after a mix up about our booking, the staff accommodated us and Oisín was a wonderful knowledgeable guide as well as mighty on the harp! From there we drove to Ardnacrusha Power Station and after cooling our heels for an hour we joined our three tour guides Cathal, Adrian and Dermot for a wonderful tour inside and out. After this we headed fro a meal at Nuala's in Tuamgraney John dropped us all off back at Lidl after 8 pm after a grand day out! (Thurs 15th Aug 2024) Day Trip to Cusack Centre, Birds of Prey and Ailwee Caves

 The weather was a bit damp to start out trip as we met outside Lidl at 9:45. But our driver, Colman, from Shannon Tours and our 15 seater minibus were excellent :) Our first stop was at the Michael Cusack Centre , which luckily we had pretty much to ourselves and our guides Agnes, Shelia and Martin were very knowledgeable and made our visit fun. Highly recommended. And the local scone ands tea and coffee were delicious and very welcome giving us all a chance to discuss the history explained by our guides.
