Shannon Town Men's Shed

 It was all hands to the deck as we spruced up our mens shed inside and out for our very important visitor...  you! We gathered by our coach at 9:30 am near Lidl in Shannon Town. John from https://www.ShannonTours.com was a very patient driver :) In total 11 members attended and  a full day was ahead of us! Our first stop was at King John's Castle, which after a mix up about our booking, the staff accommodated us and Oisín was a wonderful knowledgeable guide as well as mighty on the harp! From there we drove to Ardnacrusha Power Station and after cooling our heels for an hour we joined our three tour guides Cathal, Adrian and Dermot for a wonderful tour inside and out. After this we headed fro a meal at Nuala's in Tuamgraney John dropped us all off back at Lidl after 8 pm after a grand day out!
