Tony making an Oscilloscope Housing

Tony put together an USB oscilloscope (http://www.hantek.com/products/detail/13171) early in Summer. But as it uses a Raspberry Pi 4 (RPi4) and and a 7" LCD touch screen rather than a laptop it needs a housing. This requires a front panel with an oblong cut out for the LCD. The LCD display can then be screwed to this and a base plate added from a small plank of wood. The RPi4 can then be screwed to the back of the front panel and the vertical oscilloscope box pushed through a vertical cutout in the front panel. Well that's the plan and good progress was made today, with Brian advising, with the LCD cut out made in the front panel. The bench bandsaw can cut out the front panel and RPi4 plate but a jig saw was need to make the cutout with finishing off by hand in a vice. Next Tues Tony hopes to finish the project by creating the base plate from a plank and cutting out a vertical slot for the oscilloscope box.
